regarded
as one
of the
top
Greek
folk
singers
of all
time,
with his
own
unique
singing
style
and a
plethora
of top
hits,
getting
Vasilis
Karras
to agree
to come
to
Cyprus
to
perform
this
one-off
concert,
sponsored
by
Chillingtons
Restaurant,
was a
big coup
for the
Paphos
area.
The
Paphos
Scene
team
were
there,
and as
you can
see from
the
pictures
on these
pages,
the
event
really
was an
evening
to
remember.
With the
crowd
all
singing
along
with
great
gusto,
and many
dancing
the
night
away,
there
was an
exceptionally
friendly
party
atmosphere
throughout.
The
excellent
support
acts and
Vasilis
himself
kept us
entertained
for a
hugely
enjoyable
5 hours,
and
particular
mention
has to
go to
the
fantastic
band,
who
played
non-stop
for this
entire
period!
